My Paper Topic

I would like to write my paper on how celebrities sustain their fame. It took me a long time, and I put a lot of thought into how I can twist the topic that I don't know or care anything about, into something I can write 2,000 words on.
I came up with this topic because I find it very interesting, from the very thought out marketing strategies, to the more desperate or as they would say "accidental" no underwear paparazzi shot, and all that in-between to maintain on top.

    Do you think you can keep it sufficiently academic? I mean, do you think there are any peer reviewed journal articles on the subject? Maybe if you look at social pscyhology journals... I'm going to let you move forward with this but I hope it doesn't prove unmanageable.
